Mark was born in Syracuse, NY, as the youngest of four children. He attended SUNY Geneseo, where he received his bachelor's degree in Piano Performance, and minored in English Literature and Piano Pedagogy. He earned a master's degree in Piano Performance from Texas Christian University, and since then has been working as a freelance pianist. Among several other jobs, he is the primary staff accompanist for the Brighton Central School District. Other hobbies include spending time with his family, traveling, and watching movies. In the past year, he purchased his first home in the city of Rochester, which has been keeping him busy, as well. He was raised Catholic, and is extremely grateful to have found a home at AUMC since he began in September of 2008.
